Busta Rhymes

The Legendary MC, "Busta Rhymes" is one of the few Hip-Hop practitioners that has undoubtedly separated himself as one of the most skilled and ferocious fast-paced rhymers of all time. The now forty-four year old MC, "Trevor George Smith Jr" who is better known to his fans as Busta Rhymes, has generated a timeless space for himself in Hip-Hop due to his unparalleled ability of being able to constantly redefine his career via his spectacular guest verses.

In the early days before Busta's rise to superstardom, the Brooklyn native polished his skills by Freestyle Battling his neighborhood friends known as the legendary MC's, "The Notorious BIG" and "Jay-Z". This would give him the ability to birth some of the best Hip-Hop guest verses of all time with the tracks, "Scenario (Remix)""Flavor In Ya Ear (Remix)" and Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now".

Busta Rhymes was dubbed his name and mentored by the legendary artist, "Chuck D" when he met, "Public Enemy" in 1986. By 1989, Busta had landed his first record deal with Elektra Records and would learn the appropriate ways of doing things as a Hip-Hop practitioner and being known as the legitimate Hip-Hop group, " Leaders of the New School".

Upon releasing his platinum debut selling album, "The Coming" in 1996, it would bolster one of his first hit singles, "Woo Hah!! Got You All In Check" and simultaneously would receive his first Grammy Nomination for, "Best Rap Solo Performance". Over the next two decades, Busta would birth multiple classic Hip-Hop albums including his debut albums, "When Disaster Strikes..." and "Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front".

Along with releasing spectacular Hip-Hop projects, Busta has also cultivated many hit singles to compliment these projects with the tracks, "What's It Gonna Be", "I Know What You Want", "I Love My Chick" and "Pass The Courvoisier". To date, Busta has accumulated many prestigious accolades over his extensive and highly successful career that included Eleven Grammy Award Nominations and being placed on ,"The Source Magazine's Top 50 Lyricists of All Time List".
